    The Trust Capacity Fund

The Trust Capacity Fund (TCaF) 2021-2022 is now open for applicants and up to £24 million in total will be awarded to support trust growth and development across England. The first application window closed on 25th June 2021. A second window opened on 26th June and it will close on 30th September, and the final window will run from 1st October to 30th November. The maximum grant threshold available is £310,000, depending on the eligibility criteria. There are two strands of TCaF funding, classified as follows:

    • A: For projects in which your trust will take on at least one additional inadequate or requires improvement school from one of the areas listed below. Those in bold have the highest priority.
    • B: For all other trust capacity building projects

        TCaF 3

'Premier Advisory Group supported us to review and resubmit a TCaF application after being unsuccessful in TCaF2. Thanks to their support we have been able to secure £97,999 to build central capacity within The Charter Schools Educational Trust. This will be used to hire additional admin and HR support, hire an estates manager and develop an ICT Strategy that is fit for purpose for future growth. PAG were professional, astute and flexible throughout the process and we look forward to continuing our work with them on future projects'.
